The idea that yoga is a form of Satan worship and portal to the occult comes as a shock to most western Christians. There is no better person to explain how this works than someone who has practiced yoga herself. Furthermore, the testimony of Cassandrah Batya will be especially meaningful to Christians since she herself is a believer, and can speak eloquently from the Christian perspective.
Below I have put 4 links. The first 2 are to articles by Cassandrah Batya. These address yoga and its twin, contemplative spirituality, and their connection with the demonic world. The third link will take you to an article published in 1991 (by a Hindu) in “Hinduism Today”. It clearly outlines the missionary program of Hinduism in the West and the important role that Yoga and transcendental meditation play in this. Please note the reference to “yoga missionaries” in the second-last paragraph.
The last link is to a page from the excellent Christian discernment site, Lighthouse Trails Research Project, that includes many articles exposing Yoga as a religion and an open doorway to the occult.
Please be warned! Does your Church teach “Christian yoga”? Are your children being taught “yoga for relaxation” at school? If so, please direct the misinformed to these and similar articles.
STUMBLE IT!

I question your sincere workings to be a religion of the true lord and God when all your mission is to convert others while rarely reforming yourselves. The notion that we are all sinners and accept Jesus washes them away is not the universal truth of change and a truthful lifestyle and discipline. Why don’t Christians first heal those who already are believers and then move to others. Sikhism is a religion of God and so powerfully that there is no alternative.
