Watchman Nee’s final word to us
Watchman Nee, a Chinese evangelist, is one of the most influential Christian thinkers of the 20th century. He was once described as ‘The Most Dangerous Man in China’. He was imprisoned for 20 years for his faith, towards the end of which he died. His most well known book is entitled: The Normal Christian Life. Personally, this was one of the most powerful and profound books I have ever read.
This was found beneath his pillow when he died, written on a scrap of paper:
‘Christ is the Son of God. He died as the Redeemer for human beings and was raised up from the dead after three days. This is the biggest thing in the universe. I shall die for believing in Christ.’
And we shall also live for believing in Christ. Amen.
STUMBLE IT!
